THEME RULES

Megalopolitan Art Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit their work for the upcoming online art exhibition Language of Colors. This competition is your opportunity to submit original artwork that demonstrates creativity, imagination, and mastery of color using it to express emotions, tell captivating stories, and bring their unique visions to life. The theme honors both traditional and contemporary approaches, encouraging innovation, depth, and originality in the exploration of color as a primary form of expression. All traditional and contemporary media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, and experimental practices. The call is open to all artists aged 18 and older, regardless of location, and both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply. All recognized artists will be presented with a digital certificate. Selected works will be featured in an online exhibition hosted on (megalopolitanart.com), where they will be permanently archived for public viewing. Alongside the Best of Show, Second, and Third Place awards, the jury may also present Talent Prize, Honorable Mention, and Finalist recognitions, depending on the quality and number of submissions. Each accepted work will be displayed with the artist’s name, artwork details, and a link to their website or email. The exhibition will be widely promoted through our gallery platform, social media, newsletters, and press outreach, offering international exposure to curators, collectors, and art enthusiasts. Entry fee is 25€ for up to two artworks (non-refundable). The deadline for submissions is April 09, 2026. Winners will be notified eight days after the submission deadline. To apply, artists should submit their images, a brief biography, and an artist statement through our online submission form.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:

By submitting artwork to our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

 

1. USAGE OF IMAGES:

  • Submitted images may be used strictly for marketing, promotional, and display purposes related to exhibitions, competitions, or shows organized by Megalopolitan Art Gallery.

  • Selected artwork may be archived and made available for public viewing on our official website megalopolitanart.com.

2. ARTIST RIGHTS:

  • Copyright Ownership: The artist retains all copyrights and intellectual property rights for any image submitted.
  • Credit: Selected works will be displayed with the artist’s name, artwork title, and, when available, a link to their website or email address.

 

3. RESTRICTION ON USE:

Images submitted will not be sold, exchanged, reproduced, or copied in any form without prior written consent from both Megalopolitan Art Gallery and the artist. Third parties may not download, share, or use any images without explicit permission.

 

 

4. CONTENT RESTRICTION:

The gallery reserves the right to decline any submission that does not align with the values and purpose of the exhibition. Artworks containing pornographic, obscene, violent, hateful, defamatory, discriminatory, or satanic content will not be considered. Submissions that promote racism, sexism, homophobia, religious intolerance, political extremism, or any other form of hate speech are strictly prohibited.

 

 

5. ENTRY FEES:

The entry fee is 25€, which allows submission of up to two artworks. Additional entries may be submitted with a re-entry. Please note that entry fees are non-refundable.

 

 

6. AGREEMENT:

Submission of artwork constitutes the artist’s full agreement to these terms and conditions.
